"Sharing "Life

[ 1 Thessalonians 2:8 ]

“So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the Gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.”

-  Sharing the Gospel of God - the message of eternal life
-  Sharing our personal lives
-  Sharing the hope of the future of our eternal glorification

This verse not only describes the faithful and loving family we have at WFC, but it also serves as an accountable reminder from Scripture regarding our purpose and identity in our service and worship of our God and Savior - Jesus Christ.

We love with a yearning affection of kindness toward one another.  As we love others with the love of Christ, we must always be reminded that the greatest act of love is the selfless sacrifice of the Son on behalf of mankind for the forgiveness of sin that we may be saved by grace through faith.  Therefore, the first greatest practice of love is to share the Gospel and to remind one another of the Gospel - where eternity and life meet.  As we develop Gospel-centered lives of ministry, we intentionally and deliberately embark on the journey discipleship giving ourselves fully and complete to our Savior, and giving ourselves fully to one another as Christ gave Himself fully to us.  We are compelled by love to continually do so, because here at WFC, we are truly dear to one another.
